Miles & More is the Star Alliance frequent flyer program, which SWISS has belonged to since 2006. The principle is simple: Anyone who flies is credited with award miles, while those who fly more receive more miles for flights, upgrades and product awards. You benefit from the frequent flyer program most if you regularly make cashless payments using a SWISS Miles & More credit card.
Star Alliance and the "Miles & More" frequent flyer program
Earn award miles and redeem them on 37 Star Alliance airlines in total. Swiss International Air Lines, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, United Airlines and a further 33 airlines belong to the world’s largest aviation alliance.
Miles & More is the largest frequent flyer program in Europe with more than 300 partners. All Star Alliance airlines, other airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, banks and insurance companies as well as online shops participate in the program. Members can earn and spend miles with all these partners.
Spending miles
You can exchange the miles you have earned for flights, upgrades to Business and First Class or product awards in the Miles & More rewards shop. You can also benefit from miles bargains with all partner airlines. Every mile counts, regardless of whether you are flying on holiday or traveling on business.
Earn miles faster and benefit sooner
You will reach your reward destination even faster if you pay for daily spending, online shopping or travel with a SWISS Miles & More credit card. Depending on the card duo, you will receive up to 20,000 welcome miles as start credit and earn up to 2.4 miles for every 2 Swiss francs spent on your card. You can also stop your miles from expiring if you pay with a SWISS Miles & More credit card once a month, for example, your coffee on the way to work.
